A nude figure, caught in a movement of falling or trance, stands out in the foreground of a wild and shadowed landscape. Around her, several silhouettes seem to witness the scene, while above them hovers a vast red form, ambiguous in nature, evoking at once a flame, a winged creature, or a supernatural presence. The stark contrast of black, white, and red gives the composition an almost apocalyptic tension. The scene suggests a rite of possession, an eruption of unseen forces, and a crossing between the human world and a more chaotic, sacred realm.
