A nude female figure stands at the heart of dense, almost tropical vegetation, framed by dark branches and birds that seem to observe the scene. On either side, two serpents rise from the grasses at the water’s edge, reinforcing the sense of a liminal space that feels at once wild, sacred, and threatening. Flashes of red run through the trees, the body, and the surface of the water like a vital or blood-like presence, giving the image an atmosphere of initiation, sensuality, and chthonic power.
