Shandi / AzK — Esoteric Jewellery, Occult Art & Ritual Creations
Shandi / AzK is an occult artist, academic, and jeweller who has studied and taught art for over a decade. Today, his artistic practice is entirely informed by his engagement with witchcraft and ritual magic. His multifaceted and multidisciplinary work explores the boundaries between art and occultism: esoteric jewellery, talismans, drawings, paintings, sculptures, sacred objects, and ritual tools form the procession of his witchcraft-inspired art.
A collector of antiques and curiosities, fascinated by the remnants of the natural world, dead animals, bones, stones, and organic materials, Shandi incorporates found and gathered elements into his creations, lending each piece a unique character. He conceives his work as a collaboration between matter, Spirits, and his own hands, where the artistic gesture becomes a form of magical practice.
Intrinsically magical, his art draws upon the foundations of Western occultism, folkloric and Sabbatic witchcraft, Tantra, alchemy, and Hermeticism.
